Resolve Is The Key To Success
We are almost halfway through the month of January and some of us may have already broken New Years resolutions. It’s not too late to turn things around though. I learned something a few weeks ago that I’d like to share.
In order to accomplish anything in life we must first have a goal. Most of us have at least come this far. We have an idea of things we would like to accomplish at some point in our lives.
Secondly, we need to develop a plan in order reach that goal. The world is full of many people who talk about the things they’d like to do, but that’s all they end up doing is talking about it. They never take the time to develop a plan to accomplish their goals. I think most of us have a goal and a plan to accomplish said goal.
The next step is what determines success from failure. Suppose there are two people with the same goal. Maybe even the same plan. The only difference is one of them has a resolve to reach their goal while the other only tries to reach thier goal. The person who merely tries to reach their goal will often quit when things get tough. The one is has resolve; however, will find a way through the hardships to accomplish their goal. When you are resolved to accomplish something you are determined that nothing will get in your way. Therein is the key to success. Success is gained through being resolved. Losers just try; winners do. Or as Yoda said “Do or do not; there is no try.”
Don’t give up on that New Years resolution or any goals you may have. Resolve to accomplish your goals this year!

Bryan, Very well spoken. This is the approach that I use to accomplish my goals: commit myself to it, stay focus and DO. Peace.

I love it Bryan! I used the Yoda line a few times this week with some of my wonderful employees. It’s a line and philosophy that works. Well done.
