Supreme Court Supports Suspected Terrorists

By Bryan • on June 13, 2008

The Supreme Court has ruled that over 270 prisoners in Guantanamo, held for more than six years for alleged links with al-Qaida and the Taliban, have a constitutional right to take their cases to civilian courts on the US mainland.

The nine-member supreme court voted 5-4 in favor of the ruling thanks in large part to the swing vote of  Justice Anthony Kennedy, a “maverick conservative” who joined his more liberal colleagues to provide the 5-4 majority.

Once again our country has been made weaker by liberals. These are prisoners of war! Therein is the problem. The liberals still do not understand that we are at war. Not only are these terrorists going to be given the same rights as you and I, they will be brought over to our mainland! This is insane.

History has already shown us that when these prisoners are released they return to their terror networks and to the war. The 5 terrorists charged with planning the 9/11 attacks are at Guantanamo. Are they to be sent to our country as well? Do they really deserve the rights that you and I deserve? They are not citizens!

These Supreme Court Justices, Stephen Breyer, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, David Souter, John Paul Stevens and Anthony Kennedy who voted in favor of this foolish ruling should be forever linked to any terrorist attacks resulting from this decision.

It’s interesting that this happens in an election year. The media will soon find the one or two prisoners whom they believe are innocent and will use them as propaganda for their crusade against our freedom and the war. Chris Matthews and his liberal colleagues will be outraged over the alleged rights violations suffered by these poor prisoners. The worst part about all of this is that both McCain and Obama want Guantanamo closed. With that kind of poor leadership our country is headed for troubled times.

Not to mention how much tax payer money will get shoveled in to pay this farce.
