Why Vote For Obama
10/21/08 UPDATE: IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT VOTING FOR OBAMA READ THIS FIRST:
Despair for conservatives is setting in as it seems the liberal media and their comrades are on the verge of victory. For over 50 years they have sought to bring Americans to their knees in order to serve under a socialist government.
They began by destroying the morality of America. They removed God from the schools; they approved the murder of innocent life through Roe v Wade and are currently redefining marriage and views of proper sexuality.
They have destroyed the education system in order to infiltrate the minds of our youth. They have succeeded in indoctrinating the youth so as to add to their liberal ranks. Our liberal teachers have failed our children as they continually rank below the rest of the world in testing.
Liberals and democrats have manipulated African-Americans. While claiming to have their best interest in mind liberals have weakened the black race. Organizations such as Rainbow Push, ACORN, and the NAACP have succeeded in making African-Americans dependent on government instead of teaching them self-empowerment. They have given them a mindset that they are owed everything rather than the importance of working and earning anything. They have used the injustices of slavery to breed hate and distrust in order to keep the African-American race enslaved to handouts rather than support them in their independence.
As Obama is hailed as the savior of America it’s clear that the misguided in our country are ready to live under a new America. The America that Obama and his liberal colleagues have longed for; a socialist America. The Communist Party has already declared victory as Obama nears the finish line. It’s clear that Americans understand that a vote for Obama is a vote against freedom. A vote for Obama is a vote for government. Not just the big government that we are used to, but a much worse government. The new government under Obama and a democratic controlled congress will be socialism at it’s finest.
But you already know that. That’s why you are voting for him. You want socialist universal health care. You want liberal judges on the Supreme Court so that they can push the socialist agenda from the highest court in the land. You want to redistribute or as Obama says, “spread the wealth” in America just as the communists before you did. You want to continue killing innocent babies on a daily basis. You want your rights slowly taken away in the name of fairness. You want God replaced by the religion of Environmentalism.
On Election Day I will cast my vote for John McCain. If Obama wins I fear for the future of America. I foresee me sitting down with my children years from now and telling them how great America was before Obama.
ORIGINAL POST:
“Change.” “Change we can believe in.” This is the mantra of the Obama campaign. Through his promises of change, Obama has become the hottest trend for many witless Americans. They know nothing of his agenda or polices, but they believe that he will bring “change.”
I found the following video on You Tube titled “Why Vote Obama.” It’s about 10 minutes long, but you only really need to view about 3 minutes of the video to get the picture.
These Obama supporters have no clue as to what Obama stands for other than the slogan of change. Here some quotes from the video:
“He will change things”
“He’ll Bring change”
“He’s something new”
“He is inspiring”
“He’s a fresh face”
Their ignorance can all be summed up by what one man says, “He is inspiring, when you listen to him talk you’re like, yeah I’ll follow that guy.” The masses have been swayed by well written speeches (not written by Obama) and a false promise of change.
It concerns me that so many Americans do not look at the issues when they are determining their candidate. About 1 minute of time in this 10 minute video was spent on issues like health care, experience and the economy. The interesting thing as that most of them pointed out that Obama has no expierance, yet they are still voting for him.
Here is Obama’s Agenda:
Change health care so that it forces us to ratin medical care.
Double taxes on dividends.
Double capital gain taxes on stock and real estate.
Increase FICA tax by 14%.
Expand the inheritance tax.
Weaken the PATRIOT Act.
May or may not pull out of Iraq depending on which day you ask him.
Vote issues; not slogans.

I could only stand 1:55 of the video, I had to stop it. The ignorance of people is amazing. If Obama wins and continues Jimmy Carter’s second term, wouldn’t you love to play this video back in these folks’ faces and say “You did this”?

Joy in their hearts?!?! Wow that’s a scary reason to vote for Obama.
By The Lawn Conservative on July 10th, 2008 at
It’s all about marketing these days. If Tom Cruise ran, he’d win on looks. If Oprah ran, she’d win because she is Oprah. Obama is liked because he has a slick slogan and is different (in a lot of ways, not just appearance)
The good news is that the ignorant people who are touting their like for Obama are the same ones that are too lazy to either register to vote anyway, too dumb to find their polling place, or too lazy to step into the booth. All 3 mean JM is the guy!
By Obama supporter on October 10th, 2008 at
There’s plenty of reasons to vote for Obama over McCain, despite what these ignorant people say. His health care plan won’t work. A $5000 tax credit won’t help. Typical Family insurance costs about $12,000 a year, and in the free market, you can be denied insurance - they don’t have to accept you. I have personal experience with that. McCains plan guarantees insurance for no one. McCain supports a spending freeze on all federal budgets except for military/vereran related and medicare. That will cause so many problems, I couldn’t begin to mention them all. So many more reasons, so little time, but the point is, there are plenty of informed Obama supporters out there.

McCain and Palin are trying to win by trying to divide the country. They are trying to create an atmosphere of “us vs. them.” What they do not understand is that we are ALL Americans, and we love our country.
McCain makes bizarre faces and loses his temper during the debates. This is not someone who can gain the respect of world leaders. Obama will win and he will unite the country. Obama has the intelligence to listen to wise council. He has the temperament of a leader. He has the education. The people are behind him.

Krauthammer got it right when he his case for his vote:
“The case for McCain is straightforward. The financial crisis has made us forget, or just blindly deny, how dangerous the world out there is. We have a generations-long struggle with Islamic jihadism. An apocalyptic soon-to-be-nuclear Iran. A nuclear-armed Pakistan in danger of fragmentation. A rising Russia pushing the limits of revanchism. Plus the sure-to-come Falklands-like surprise popping out of nowhere.
Who do you want answering that phone at 3 a.m.? A man who’s been cramming on these issues for the past year, who’s never had to make an executive decision affecting so much as a city, let alone the world? A foreign policy novice instinctively inclined to the flabbiest, most vaporous multilateralism (e.g., the Berlin Wall came down because of “a world that stands as one,” and who refers to the most deliberate act of war since Pearl Harbor as “the tragedy of 9/11,” a term more appropriate for a bus accident? “
Krauthammer also wryly notes:
“McCain’s critics are offended that he raised the issue of William Ayers. What’s astonishing is that Obama was himself not offended by William Ayers. [emphasis added] “

I think Obama should be president. Here are some reasons. We should have our taxes doubled. The money from taxes are going to go to schools, build highways ect. If our taxes are lowered, we’re going to be spending the money sometime soon somehow. We need our troops out of Iraq, nothing is happening. Alot of people have lost their lives for no reason. If Mccain is president, you’re just voting for another Bush. Who cares if Obama has no experience, he says that he will make change, and that’s what we need for this country. Our economy is doing really bad. And Obama will change that.

ROTFLMAO… I sure hope “Emily” is kidding, if not, and she represents the average Obama voter…oye vey are we in for some tough times ahead.

I will vote for McCain? There are too many racist Black people voting for Obama, just because he is black. Every words that comes out of Obama’s mouth sounds racist too.
By Brian Nevin on October 28th, 2008 at
I don’t label myself voting for a Democratic or Republican and Black or White. What can this “Black, White, or Blue candidate” do for our American Citizens are my concerns?
After watching news showing the Black Celebrities (Oprah, P-Diddy, and more) and tuning to Big Boys Neighborhood on Power 106 (Big Boy did a call to ask this lady who is she voting for this year? This lady answered with loud expression “You are calling to a black women’s home, off course I’m gonna vote for a Black man?”
Now who’s the racist? Off course Oprah, P-Diddy and many other Black celebrities are voting for Obama just because he is Black. After hearing all these, don’t tell me that I am a racist, it is the Black people who created this racist within themselves.
By kate on October 30th, 2008 at
Obviously you don’t understand what freedom is. I believe in an America where people feel some sort of responsibility to serve their neighbors. I choose to rise above stereotypes that depict people in poverty as lazy and undeserving. I understand that sometimes you cant change your circumstances. So I choose to help those who I have the resources to help. You are afraid of Socialism? Then you are just the type of person who needs a little dose of it. Too many Americans think they deserve to get what they want and give nothing in return. You need to learn tolerance and sacrifice.
By Love on October 31st, 2008 at
Does McCain speak of anything he will do for America. His campaign is about Obama. Why choose a candidate that makes bad choices hence, Sarah Palin. The people that support Obama may not study as much as they should but they made a great choice. Obama needs to be in office period. I don’t trust McCain as far as I can throw him. Anyone who thinks differently doesn’t want change. What has McCain proven to you that he is fit to be President? That Obama should not be the President. This is why American people are called stupid. We are surface people in depth with ignorance and sadly we love it the way it is. Well I’m an American-African and I’m voting for Obama because he will bring change. I’ve read and agree with his plan. Look at the people supporting him Colin Powell, Joe Biden, Bill Clinton and Warren Buffet. Not only do I trust his motives I trust his advisiors. Only a fool would vote for McCain.
By Love on October 31st, 2008 at
And another thing. Stupid people. You vote because of what other people say. Stupid. You vote because it is your right. Everything you claim your not maybe everthing you are. Most non racist people don’t make thier decision off of other racist opinions. Damn Americans are so DUMB.
By doluseb on November 1st, 2008 at
That video about sums it up. Just about everyone on their said “change” WTF is change, there has been no elaboration on that word the whole damn Obama campaign. The majority of the people on there said they would vote for him simply because he was black. That’s just as racist as not voting for him because he’s black. All you dumbass Obama supporters are going to bring this country down. Read your 1984 and your Brave New World, because that’s what this country is going to be like. Redistribution of wealth, govt. so expansive and powerful they tell you what to do and how to think. No more freedom of expression, freedom to obtain wealth (without it getting taken away from you and given to the lazy fucker down the street who won’t get a job ’cause his govt. will take care of him). -Tell me, how do you boost the economy by INCREASING govt. speding 1 trillion dollars? How do you give tax breaks to people that DONT pay taxes? (give them a check that’s how…your money in that check too). You think govt. funded socialized healthcare will work? Go to Canada you ingorant fucks; they come down here for healthcare. Good luck say goodbye to the USA

Since act of 9/11 - All i’ve been seen from the movies, from TV, Documents concerning the terrorist attack have changed my whole opinion about US. It’s like everything there is brainwashing to believe there’s bloody terrorists everywhere. Your health care is unbelievebly bad and so is the cap between rich and poor people - in my own country we don’t have that and we’re more than 20 times smaller country than you, thus leading country in Europe.
no more a man to lead a great country who’s IQ is 84 and clearly just a muppet with strings
Vote for Obama and make me love your country again please.
whole world is waiting this from you
By Bryan on November 1st, 2008 at
Jcanon,
It’s obvious that you have been a viewer of Michael Moore films. I don’t care if you love my country or not. One of reasons I’m against Obama is because “the whole world is waiting” for him. We saved half the world a time or two. I don’t need you or other outsiders telling me how to vote. And here’s a newsflash—terrorists are real. Our health care is superior to that of any other country. That is why foreigners like you come here for surgery. The gap b/t rich and the poor will never go away. Everyone in America has the same opportunity to succeed or fail just like the next guy. This is the best nation in the world.
By Patriot on November 2nd, 2008 at
Wow, you are truly ignorant. Are you going to tell your Grandkids about the last 8 years, or leave that part out?
It is interesting for me to read this to try to figure out the psyche of a warped mind…but why bother!
Enjoy the next four years. I predict that you will be miserable, because you want to be.

u kno im convinced that obama is jus wut this country needs.. y make the rich richer nd the poor poorer.. how does that bring a country 2gether.. if u vote for mcCain u or voting to put this country thru another deppresion. there will be less job oppertunitys, ppl among the streets suffering or god forbid dying due to illness because they cnt afford the proper healthcare.. if u vote mcCain then theres no more 1 nation under god but it will be evry man for themselves..

I am a high school student who had to write an argumentative paper on anything we wanted. The topic I chose was why we as Americans should not vote for Barack Obama. The information that I have is cited and factual. I did a lot of cross referencing. I think anyone who is undecided or for Barack Obama should read this, and hopefully it will open their eyes.
Why not to vote for Barack Obama
The 2008 Presidential Election is right around the corner. Some people are voting for Senator John McCain, some are voting for Senator Barack Obama, and some are still undecided. Choosing one of these men to run our great country should not be taken lightly, but done very carefully. Those voting for Obama and those undecided should take Senator Barack Obama’s stances into consideration.
One of the many reasons Barack Obama should not be voted for is because of where he stands on abortion. This is a very sensitive issue with many Americans. Not only is Obama pro-choice, he also voted against banning partial-birth abortion which is abortion that can take place after the first trimester in pregnancy up until a day before the baby is delivered. Obama strongly criticized the decision upholding the partial-birth ban by the Supreme Court. He also opposed a bill that would give medical attention to infants mistakenly left alive by abortion in the Illinois state Senate (Washington Post). According to abortionist Dr. Martin Haskell who has performed over 1,000 partial-birth abortions, approximately 80 percent are done for “elective” reasons. Many who are pro-choice might try to argue that the fetus feels no pain at this stage. Professor Robert White, director of the division or neurosurgery and brain research laboratory at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in Cleveland said “the fetus within this time frame of gestation, 20 weeks and beyond, is fully capable of experiencing pain. Without a doubt, this is a dreadfully painful experience for any such infant subjected to such a surgical procedure.” Abortions and partial-birth abortions are both horrible, but partial-birth abortions are dangerous and horrific. If the woman wanted to have an abortion, why wait until the first trimester is over? If Obama has that little regard for a human life, people need to rethink their support for him. Taking a human life is the worst crime that can be committed.
Barack Obama wants to “spread the wealth around”. Joe Wurzelbacher, a plumber from Ohio, was playing ball with his son when he saw Obama in his neighborhood (New York Times). Joe, who was considering buying the plumbing company he worked for, approached him and asked him, “Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn’t it?” (Joe Wurzelbacher)”. Obama answered, “It’s not that I want to punish your success. I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they’ve got a chance for success too. My attitude is that if the economy’s good for folks from the bottom up, it’s gonna be good for everybody … I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody” (Sen. Barack Obama). “Spreading the wealth around” may sound like a good idea to some, but to others it means not working hard and relying on those with higher incomes for money. We live in America where we have the opportunity to be anything we want to be. Men and women go out, earn money, and are entrapanuers. We should not have a government that takes from one to give to another. Senator Obama contradicts his “spread the wealth around” statement by saying “We need to steer clear of this poverty of ambition, where people want to drive fancy cars and wear nice clothes and live in nice apartments but don’t want to work hard to accomplish these things. Everyone should try to realize their full potential.” (Barack Obama). If America is going to become a country where we spread the wealth around, what would the incentive to work hard be? This is America where anyone can be anything and all they want to be.
One more reason not to vote for Barack Obama is because of his relationships with radical people. William “Bill” Ayers was a leader of a homegrown terrorist group called Weatherman during the 1960’s. Ayers summed up the ideals of the organization by saying “Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home. Kill your parents “(Bill Ayers). In his book Fugitive Days Ayers brags that he “participated in the bombings of New York City Police Headquarters in 1970, of the Capitol building in 1971, and the Pentagon in 1972? (Bill Ayers, Fugitive Days). Ayers and Weatherman were responsible for thirty bombings that were aimed at destroying the United State’s defense and security infrastructures. Ayers said in 2001 “I don’t regret setting bombs. I feel we didn’t do enough” (Bill Ayers). In his book Fugitive Days, Bill Ayers said on whether or not he might use bombs against the U.S. in the future, “I can’t imagine entirely dismissing the possibility” (Bill Ayers). Even though Ayers admitted to these attacks by saying he was “guilty as sin, free as a bird”, he could not be charged with anything because of improper surveillance. When Barack Obama decided to run for the Illinois Senate in the 1970’s, Bill Ayers welcomed him into his own home, invited neighbors, and helped launch Obama’s campaign. Bill Ayers joined the Woods Fund of Chicago in 1999 and served as director alongside of Obama. Ayers also made presentations to board meetings which were chaired by Obama, and spoke for the Chicago School Reform Collaborative before Obama’s board. Obama and Ayers are neighbors and Obama has spent time in his home, yet Senator Obama says he does not have a relationship with this man and was “ignorant of Mr. Ayers’ past terrorist acts” (Barack Obama). Is this the kind of man we want as president of the United States? Do we want someone who has a relationship with a former terrorist who wishes he would have done more? This is just one of several radical persons who Barack Obama calls his “friends”. Obama said of these relationships “Frankly, when you live the kind of lifestyle that I have, it’s hard to make friends. You take what you can get, and you don’t ask a lot of questions. These guys are the best I could do.” I would hope that our next president could do better.
These are just a few of the many reasons as to why we as Americans should not give our vote to Barack Obama. During his campaign, he has not been clear on where he stands and has not been detailed in any of his viewpoints. He has flip-flopped on so many issues that it’s hard to figure out what he stands for. Obama’s main slogan is “change”. Is this change for the better or the worse? The United States of America is the greatest country in the world. Is change really what we want?
By Chris on November 3rd, 2008 at
Alyssa, while I commend you on actually looking for some of Obama’s stances on important issues, your post speaks volumes about the naivity of high schoolers. I’m a college student, constantly bombarded with the various stances of both candidates. One thing you’ll learn about society is that when it comes to religious beliefs, you can preach all you want but people’s religious beliefs are more often than not, something they will take to the grave. Thus, your beliefs on abortion, no matter how justified YOU think they are, are hardly transferrable to those who have decided against you. There is no reason why yours are right and theirs are wrong, its just the way of the world and more importantly, the freedom of choice that is the glamour of democracy.
Finally, you mention relationships with radicals. This is the major weakness of your argument. With many radical people come new and revolutionary thought. You should do some research into voices like bob dylan and john lennon, or for a more generationally familiar name, tupac shakur (though he has no business being in the same sentence as the above). Its simply immature to label radicals as a flaw. Every new idea that has made the world a better place started out as a “radical” idea. The founding fathers were “radicals” in this sense of the word. In order to make a well informed decision about this election, you have to analyze all vistas rather than just what I’m guessing your parents told you.
By Chris on November 3rd, 2008 at
Oh and I forgot to respond to brian’s horrible comment about US healthcare. Anyone well informed about the nuances of our health care system will tell you that its far from the tops of the world. While nationalized health care is probably not the answer, a change is desperately needed. I’d urge you to look up some statistics, you’ll see that its actually quite dismal. As someone looking at the medical field as a future career, I strongly look forward to a change in a system that is highly dependent on who can afford it and how much you can charge without getting a lawsuit (with sometimes fatal outcomes). The health care system needs a change (were in the 40’s in most major catagories worldwide, outside of profits of course) regardless of who is elected.
By Alyssa on November 3rd, 2008 at
Thanks for your comment Chris. You have a lot of good points…but my opinion isn’t swayed. And I have to tell you that I have analyzed almost all vistas…the paper had requirements for lenght and I could have talked about a lot more. My parents have raised me as a Republican, but they don’t decide what I stand for, although that is how a lot of younger people make their decisions.
By Chris on November 3rd, 2008 at
Well I applaud you for having the stregnth of character to make up your own mind regarding important perspectives on what needs to be done and the best way to fix them. However, there’s something that I really need to ask you, since its always kinda puzzled me. I don’t mean this as a criticism but just something that I can’t really see since its not a situation that I would be able to find myself in seeing as how I’m a guy. Anyways…
How is it that the republican party garners any support from young females when their policies are seemingly as much against women’s rights as possible in the modern American society? McCain’s desire to make abortion and even birth control illegal, though I could never see that happening could easily be seen as a right of women’s that would be taken away. But even more shocking is Sarah Palin’s history. While a governer in Alaska, she outlawed birth control, regardless of the situation (aka women that were raped would not be able to recieve any anti-precreative drugs). But she also outlawed breast cancer examinations! How can younger women possibly cast a vote to put her into a prominent white house position?!
Sorry that got kinda long haha.

Of course thats not even to mention all her other unfathomable interviews like the dinosaur one, bush doctrine, not knowning what roe vs. wade is, not being able to name a newspaper and not knowing what a vice president does..

This is going to be in the history, America will be doomed! Thanks to those for making this happen.
I can’t believe what I heard on the radio this morning, makes my day bad already. P-Diddy and Will I am called Big Boy radio station, they thanked each other for supporting, their “Brother” to be in the office and ….is the first black american in the history to be the president!”
Maybe Obama and Oprah should rebuild the twin tower in New York to support all black children in need. Oprah did it in Africa.
What about my children and other children? Will they get left behind?
By Brian Nevin on November 5th, 2008 at
Got this message from the cover of the news this morning, NEW YORK — New York is a deeply Democratic state, and was almost assured to go the way of Barack Obama on Election Day. Still, as Diddy cast his ballot for the Democratic presidential candidate Tuesday, he couldn’t help but feel that he had made a difference. Diddy said he believed he was potentially making history by voting for the first black president, and also felt the weight of the past in the voting booth. Many months all I hear was vote for this black guy and let’s make a black history. That is all in black people’s head. There black history is so important that will make America suffer in the future.
Let’s just hope in the next election will be better.

The Election was very fierce . Barack Obama was elected 44th President. Barack Obama has entered the race for the President of the United States of America on February 10th 2007 (yes it is 2007)
