Obama “Lipstick On A Pig” Comment Has McCain Camp In Uproar
In Lebanon, Virginia today Obama was quoted as saying, “The other side, suddenly, they’re saying ‘we’re for change too,’ ” Obama told the crowd. “You can put lipstick on a pig. It’s still a pig. You can wrap up an old fish in a piece of paper and call it change. It’s still going to stink after eight years. We’ve had enough.”
The McCain camp felt that the comment was aimed at Palin and meant as a sexist remark. Perhaps this poor taste of Obama, but he never specifically said Palin’s name. I would hope that the McCain camp leave the comment alone and let the American people decide if they want to take offense to it or not. I don’t want to see the campaign get bogged down in these petty arguments.

It’s like there is no amount of mistakes Barack Obama could make to cause him to stop and think about things. Everyone’s overlooked those mistakes time and time again but people are not looking the other way anymore. His hype is fizzling out. In other words, he’s got to stop saying such stupid things.

McCain has become quite the politician since he got his party’s nomination; he has proven time and again that his strategy for winning is based on personal attacks and distracting people from the main issues… most people aren’t THAT gullible, are they?
