Obama Camp Upset About “That One” Comment From McCain.

By Bryan • on October 8, 2008

Once again the Obama campaign are complaining that McCain hurt their feelings. During the second debate McCain referred to Obama as “that one.” Here is the comment in it’s context:

McCain, “that one” comment: “There was an energy bill on the floor of the Senate loaded down with goodies, billions for the oil companies, and it was sponsored by Bush and Cheney. You know who voted for it? You might never know. That one,” he said, pointing to Obama. “You know who voted against it? Me.”

Here is the YouTube clip:

After the debate the Obama camp claimed that the comment was due to McCain’s anger over the state of his campaign. Later the McCain camp made it known that the reference was unintentional

Nevertheless this struck a sour note with Obama campaign and I for one hope that McCain will call Obama “that one” from this point forward.

Obama is not a ‘cry baby’ but his followers are the onces taking offence at a clearly disrespectful McCain! I guess when you know you are going downhill fast you’ve got to ‘dig in’ with childish comments.
