If you watched the Palin rally in Virginia this morning you saw “Tito the builder.” Tito may have caught the eye of the McCain campaign when he showed up on YouTube arguing with a media member about the attacks on Joe the plumber and why the media has not investigated Obama as they did the average citizen Joe. If you watch the video below you will not only see Tito making his case, but you also see the media member defend Obama. Surprise, surprise.

Joe The Plumber Still Thinks Obama’s Plan Will Tax Him

If you watched the debate you heard Joe the plumber come up  several times. Who is Joe the plumber?

He is Joe Wurzelbacher, an Ohio man looking to buy a plumbing business. Earlier in the week Joe told Obama that he felt his tax plan would prevent him from buying his business. Obama replied that he didn’t want to punish Joe’s success, but he wanted to “spread the wealth”. A socialist comment if I’ve ever heard one.

Joe represents all of middle America. He is Palin’s Joe six-pack. The question that everyone has is, who is Joe voting for? He won’t say, but he did say the following after watching the final debate.

“I didn’t think much of it the first time I heard it,” Wurzelbacher said, adding that he still thinks Obama’s plan would keep him from buying the business.

About McCain: “He’s got it right as far as I go.”

“But eloquence is no substitute for record.”  I heard those words come through my television screen last night from Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman. In my mind those words epitomize the election. As eloquent of an orator that I think Barack Obama is, and as much as his speeches can stir up many American’s hearts including mine, and as much as I think he can speak and rouse an audience with the best of them, I believe his downfall is the fact that Sen. Lieberman pointed out last night, and that is, Obama’s phenomenal, soul stirring, amazing, but empty rhetoric is no match for Senator McCain’s record. (more…)
