Palin’s Firing Of State Commissioner “Proper And Lawful”

The ethics inquiry into Sarah Palin’s firing of Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan has found that the firing was “proper and lawful.” This good news comes with some possible damaging news as the ethics panel, although clearing Palin of wrong doing, notes that she “abused her power” in the matter. The abuse of power is due to the extraordinary access that Todd Palin had to the governor’s office and her closest advisers. He used that access to try to get trooper Mike Wooten fired, the report found.

Wooten is a scumbag who tasers 11-year-old kids and drinks while on duty in his patrol car.

The democrats, liberal media and Obama campaign will jump on the alleged abuse of power while ignoring the fact the the panel cleared Palin all wrong doing and they do not recommend sanctions or a criminal investigation. Doubtless though, the liberals will demand a criminal investigation.

Perhaps they should demand Obama come clean about ACORN and Ayers first.

McCain Campaign Launches “Palin Truth Files” Site

As the attacks continue against Sarah Palin the McCain camp has set up a website called Palin Truth Files to combat the untruths that have been spread by the media and liberals. The site is similar to Obama’s Fight The Smear page, but unlike Obama’s alleged attacks from the right, Palin faces real smears in relation to the Troopergate saga.

The site features a time line chronicling all of the key events surrounding Troopergate as well as key documents and the latest news on Palin.

In addition to the time line the site also features a connect the dots to Obama page detailing how the Troopergate investigation is linked to Obama.

It’s an interesting site to say the least, but is it wise for the McCain camp to do this just a few weeks away from the election. Most people are on her side concerning this issue. This just keeps it going.
